WOODLAND RETREAT
Downsizing from a large, traditional family home, the owners dreamed of a modern ranch-style house that would connect seamlessly with its wooded surroundings. Fieldstone was introduced, setting its natural tone.
Equally important was the couple’s passion for cooking and entertaining, which led to the creation of expansive gathering spaces both indoors and out. Large sliding doors extend the living areas to patios and an outdoor chef’s station, while generous windows frame the woodlands beyond.
From migrating birds to wild turkeys, the landscape becomes part of daily life. The result was a home that balanced intimacy with openness, blending social vitality with a deep connection to nature.
