GROUNDED IN MODERNISM
Designed as a multigenerational weekend retreat, this single-story residence comprises three interconnected pavilions that balance architectural drama with comfort and functionality. The central pavilion serves as the social core, with open cooking, dining, and lounge areas that flow to an elevated terrace shaded by a cantilevered brise-soleil. Large glass panels blur the line between indoors and out, while a 16-foot translucent glass wall and in-situ concrete provide light and privacy. Natural materials, lead-coated copper, steel, mahogany, and concrete, bring warmth and texture. Grounded in the landscape yet ethereal in presence, the home offers a serene and timeless modern retreat.
