HOUSE FOR AN ART COLLECTOR
Originally designed by our office in 1999, this home was reimagined more than twenty years later, to reflect the owners’ evolving lifestyle as empty nesters.
The ground floor was transformed, and focused on the design of a sophisticated, interactive kitchen which was to be the epicenter for cooking, entertaining and gathering.
Contemporary custom millwork was designed to refresh while hidden spaces were repurposed, a coffee station emerged, and an illuminated bar that glows in the evening.
Subtle refinements, new colors, large pivot doors, and carefully selected furnishings, brought a sophisticated elegance to the interior.
While the renovation respected the home’s original layout, spaces were recreated to celebrate its next chapter.
