Commissioned as a speculative home, this project was envisioned to be a modern alternative to traditional suburban living.

The design needed to catch the eye of a range of potential buyers which resulted in developing a flexible plan with multiple living options which would appeal to a broader market.

The house is a simple rectangular box, sitting slightly elevated on a corner site to capture views of both a lakeside park and Lake Michigan beyond.

Expansive sliding doors extend the kitchen into a side yard patio, encouraging indoor-outdoor living. Low-maintenance landscaping and eco-friendly materials underscore the home’s ethos of simplicity and efficiency.

The result, a thoughtfully designed and well-crafted residence that is custom, modern, and adaptable to diverse lifestyles.
