ESTATE UPDATE
The renovation of this traditional estate began with a request to bring new life to a kitchen and living suite while respecting the home’s historic character.
The client asked for simplicity and an ‘openness’, but without sterilizing the home’s elegance and charm. To achieve this, the once bulky cabinetry dividing the rooms was removed, allowing light and movement to flow freely between the spaces.
A refined palette of soft whites and warm natural materials brightened the interiors which helped celebrate the detail of the original architecture.
The result was a transformation that is both simple and modern, yet timeless and style averse, where heritage and contemporary design blend into a cohesive statement.
